What a Tuesday actually looks like
Doors at 7. Someone puts the urn on. Boards come out, the league players get serious, and everyone else plays casual games, works through a puzzle, or gets a free lesson from whoever's free. We wrap up around 10:30, or later if the position's interesting.
You don't need to be any good. Roughly a third of the room couldn't beat a beginner two years ago. Your first three visits are free — just turn up.
